Public Archive Page

Your public archive is a branded page where anyone can browse your published newsletters - no login required. It’s the public face of your newsletter content and a powerful tool for attracting new subscribers.

Your archive is available at:

https://linkbrew.io/your-slug/archive

Replace your-slug with your workspace slug (visible in Settings > Advanced).

The public archive shows all newsletters you’ve marked as Public in your admin archive. Each newsletter card displays:

  • Subject - the newsletter title (links to the full newsletter)
  • Date - when it was sent
  • Excerpt - a preview of the content

The page is branded with your workspace name, logo, and primary color - the same branding as your subscribe page.

When a visitor clicks a newsletter from the archive, they see the full content at:

https://linkbrew.io/your-slug/archive/newsletter-slug

The reader page includes:

  • Full newsletter content with your brand styling
  • All Issues link back to the archive (in the header)
  • Subscribe button linking to your subscribe page
  • “Powered by Linkbrew” footer

The public archive is designed to convert readers into subscribers:

  • Archive page - a “Subscribe to Your Newsletter” button appears at the top, linking to your subscribe page
  • Newsletter reader - a subscribe button appears in the footer of every newsletter
  • Subscribe page - a “Browse past issues” link appears below the form (only when you have at least one public newsletter), linking visitors back to the archive

This creates a natural funnel: visitors discover your archive, read past issues, and subscribe.

Public archive pages and newsletter reader pages include meta tags for search engine discoverability:

  • <title> and og:title set to the newsletter subject or archive name
  • og:description set from the newsletter excerpt
  • og:type set to article on individual newsletter pages

Link to your public archive from:

  • Your website or blog - “Read past issues”
  • Social media - share your archive URL directly
  • Email signatures - include alongside your subscribe link
  • Your subscribe page - the “Browse past issues” link is added automatically

If you haven’t marked any newsletters as public yet, visitors see a friendly message: “No newsletters published yet. Subscribe to be notified when the first one drops.” - with a link to your subscribe page.
