Email Footer
Every newsletter email includes a footer with your business information and an unsubscribe link. This is required by law and helps build trust with your subscribers.
Why This Is Required
Section titled “Why This Is Required”The CAN-SPAM Act (US) and GDPR (EU) require commercial emails to include:
- Your business or publication name
- A valid physical postal address
- A working unsubscribe mechanism
Linkbrew handles the unsubscribe link automatically. You configure the business details.
Configuring Your Footer
Section titled “Configuring Your Footer”Go to Settings → Email Footer tab.
Company Name
Section titled “Company Name”Your business or publication name. This appears in the footer of every email.
Physical Address
Section titled “Physical Address”A valid postal address. This is required by CAN-SPAM even if you’re an individual creator.
Website URL
Section titled “Website URL”A link to your website, displayed in the email footer. This helps subscribers find you outside of email.
Social Links
Section titled “Social Links”Optional links to your social profiles:
- Twitter/X URL — your Twitter or X profile
- LinkedIn URL — your LinkedIn page
These appear as links in the footer, making it easy for subscribers to follow you on other platforms.
What the Footer Looks Like
Section titled “What the Footer Looks Like”The footer appears at the bottom of every newsletter, below your content. It includes:
- Your company name and address
- Social links (if configured)
- An unsubscribe link (added automatically — you don’t need to configure this)
The footer styling matches your brand color and is formatted for readability across email clients.
