Categories

Categories organize your links into logical groups and create sections in your generated newsletters. When AI generates a newsletter, each category becomes its own section with a heading.

Every workspace starts with six categories:

  • News
  • Tutorials
  • Tools
  • Opinion
  • Announcements
  • Uncategorized — the fallback category for links that don’t fit elsewhere

Go to Settings → Categories tab.

Type a name in the input field and click Add. The new category becomes available immediately — when you submit new links, the AI can assign them to it, and it appears as a filter option in your Content library.

Click the edit icon next to any category to change its name. All links currently in that category are updated automatically.

Click the delete icon next to a category. Before deletion, you’ll be asked to choose another category to reassign the existing links to. This ensures no links are left without a category.

The Uncategorized category cannot be deleted — it serves as the fallback.

Drag and drop categories to change their display order. This order determines:

  • The order of sections in your AI-generated newsletters
  • The order of options in the category filter on the Content page

When the AI generates a newsletter from your selected links:

  1. Links are grouped by their assigned category
  2. Each category becomes a section with a heading
  3. Sections follow your category sort order
  4. Categories with no selected links are omitted

For example, if you select 3 links in “Tutorials” and 2 in “Tools,” your newsletter will have a “Tutorials” section followed by a “Tools” section.

Each category in the settings displays the number of links currently assigned to it. This helps you see how your content is distributed across categories.
