Advanced Settings

The Advanced tab contains settings for testing, URL customization, data management, and workspace-level actions.

Go to Settings → Advanced tab.

Test mode lets you send newsletters to yourself instead of your real subscribers. This is the safest way to preview the actual email before going live.

  • Toggle test mode on or off
  • Test email — the email address that receives test newsletters

When test mode is enabled, clicking “Publish & Send” on the Publish page delivers the newsletter only to your test email address. Your subscribers are not affected.

Your workspace slug determines your public URLs:

  • Subscribe page: linkbrew.io/subscribe/your-slug
  • Newsletter archive: linkbrew.io/newsletters/your-slug

To change your slug:

  1. Enter a new slug in the field
  2. Linkbrew checks availability in real time
  3. Save the change

Keep it short, memorable, and relevant to your newsletter. Changing the slug updates all your public URLs immediately — update any links you’ve shared externally.

Download all your workspace data as a JSON file. The export includes:

  • Workspace settings and configuration
  • All links with their metadata
  • All newsletters (content and metadata)
  • All subscribers

The file is timestamped with your workspace name and download date. Use this for backups, auditing, or migrating data.

Permanently delete your workspace and all associated data.

To delete:

  1. Click Delete Workspace
  2. Read the warning
  3. Type your workspace name exactly as shown to confirm
  4. Click the final confirmation button

After deletion, Linkbrew creates a fresh empty workspace for your account automatically. Only the workspace owner can delete a workspace.
