Submitting Links
The Submit Link page is your starting point for curating content. Paste a URL, and Linkbrew’s AI analyzes the page to extract everything you need for your newsletter.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”- Go to Submit Link in the sidebar
- Make sure you’re in Single Link mode (the default)
- Paste a URL into the input field
- Click Analyze
Linkbrew’s AI fetches the page and extracts:
- Title — the article or page headline
- Summary — a concise description of the content
- Image — the Open Graph or featured image, if available
- Category — automatically assigned from your workspace categories (e.g., News, Tutorials, Tools)
Reviewing the Analysis
Section titled “Reviewing the Analysis”After analysis completes, a preview card appears showing all the extracted data. Review the information and:
- Add to Library — saves the link to your Content library, ready to be included in a newsletter
- Discard — removes the preview without saving
The AI assigns a category based on the content. If the suggested category doesn’t fit, you can change it later from the Content library.
URL Validation
Section titled “URL Validation”Linkbrew validates your input before sending it to the AI:
- The URL must be a valid web address (starting with
http://orhttps://) - Invalid or malformed URLs are rejected with an error message
- Duplicate URLs (already in your library) are flagged
Error Handling
Section titled “Error Handling”If analysis fails — due to a timeout, network issue, or the page blocking automated access — you’ll see an error message. You can retry the same URL or try a different one. Some websites block automated scrapers, which may prevent analysis.
Next Steps
Section titled “Next Steps”- Multi-Link Input — submit multiple URLs at once
- RSS Feed Import — import links from RSS, Atom, or Reddit feeds
- Managing your library — browse, filter, and organize your links
