Frequently Asked Questions

Linkbrew is a newsletter curation platform. You submit links to articles, blog posts, and resources. AI analyzes each link, extracting the title, summary, image, and category. You select the links you want, generate a formatted newsletter with AI, and send it to your subscribers — all from one platform.

Yes. The Free plan includes 500 subscribers, 4 newsletters per month, and 100 links. No credit card required. See Plans and Pricing for full details.

Linkbrew uses AI in two places:

  1. Link analysis — when you submit a URL, AI fetches the page and extracts the title, summary, image, and category automatically
  2. Newsletter generation — when you select links and click “Generate Newsletter,” AI creates formatted content with an introduction, category sections, and a subject line

The AI runs server-side. You don’t need an API key or any AI configuration.

Yes. In Settings → Branding you can set your brand color, upload a logo, customize the newsletter name, and configure the sender name. All emails are formatted with your branding applied to headers, links, buttons, and the footer.

Three ways:

  1. Public subscribe page — share linkbrew.io/subscribe/your-slug anywhere. See Public Subscribe Page.
  2. Embed widget — put a subscribe form on your website (Pro feature). See Embed Widget.
  3. Manual add or CSV import — add subscribers yourself. See Adding Subscribers.

Double opt-in means subscribers must confirm their email address by clicking a link in a confirmation email before they start receiving newsletters. Linkbrew requires this because:

  • It’s required for GDPR compliance
  • It ensures email addresses are real and valid
  • It reduces spam complaints and bounce rates
